I love you to Jupiter (and then to Michigan) and back

Our journey with Lauren and Clay began a few months back when they tied the knot on a beautiful, beachfront in Jupiter Beach, Florida, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The celebration was so fantastic that they decided to extend the love to Onekama, Michigan, where we were honored to capture their second wedding with even more friends and family.

For their big day, Lauren and Clay chose a special location close to Lauren’s heart: her aunt’s house resting along the serene shores of Lake Michigan. It was a childhood summer haven for her, where she spent countless days making memories with her siblings and cousins. As wedding guests arrived at the house to greet the couple, laughter and excitement filled the air, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.

The festivities then moved to the wedding venue, Portage Point Resort, along the shores of Portage Lake. Surrounded by their closest family and sweetest friends, Lauren and Clay exchanged heartfelt vows, their love capturing the attention of family and friends.

As the night unfolded, there was an unexpected surprise in store for the guests: Lauren emerged in a stunning second wedding dress, crafted from fabric passed down from her mother and grandmother’s wedding dresses. It was a touching tribute to family and heritage, adding an extra layer of sentiment to an already unforgettable day.

With laughter, happy tears, and a whole lot of love in the air, Lauren and Clay’s wedding day was one for the books—a day we’ll be talking about for years to come.
